The Girl Next Door: Taste of Short Steps (隣のお姉さん 小股の斬れ味 Tonari no Onesan: Komata no Kireaji?) is a 2003 Japanese pink film directed by Tarō Araki who also plays a role in the film. Araki filmed The Girl Next Door: Taste of Short Steps for his own production company, Taro Pro and it was released theatrically in Japan by OP Eiga on February 5, 2003.[2] It won the award for Eighth Best Film at the Pink Grand Prix ceremony.[3]

Synopsis

Hanae and Chōko are two hard-working sisters living in the countryside with their father. Hanae runs a snack shop and Chōko works in a hair salon. Teruhiko, Hanae's first boyfriend from high school who now works for a large company in Tokyo, visits the snack shop one day. They become reacquainted and Teruhiko wishes to marry Hanae. Romantic complications ensue when he meets Chōko.[4]
